Start by adding contract, then we'll talk. If you're playing for ante, then you're already risking your power, but your deck sucks because your opponent has contract and you don't. Besides, given a choice between the two, Contract gives your deck more power than power.

As usual dipstick does his best to annoy new players into submission. I will help you, the way you broke down your decklist is not that helpful. Instead of creatures, spells and mana... Break your decklist down into artifact, land, multicolor, white, blue, red, black, and green. If you do that, I can give you a bunch of suggestions to up your color count to the appropriate 30 of each color.

He's not a new player. I don't know what he's doing here if not trolling. But then, you already know that, so why the accusation?

    4 Regrowth!? Cheater!

Honestly though, playing against a deck with Contract when you don't have one is ridiculously unfair. I personally also believe it is a massive setback not to run 4 of that card. Power is not essential, drawing 7 cards for practically nothing is, especially in a format that needs to keep itself replenished.

Some of the creatures - I mean, I get why they are in there - seem rather weak. Court Homonculus, Salvage Slasher... some of these just seem like they are too slow or junky. Maybe they are really good. I don't know, to be honest. I'm used to playing a Monoblack skullfuck deck (i.e. Let's see how quickly I can Hymn your hand while I draw into infinity with Blood-Clamp combo) and Slivers.

Honestly, if your deck can abuse it - which it seems exceedingly capable of doing so - run 4 Windfall. It is an incredibly powerful game swinger if used correctly, especially in the earliest of turns. Highly recommended.

    Engineered Explosives? Seems good...

Tormod's Crypt? Relic of Progenitus? Where's the hate?

    Either way, good luck.

Oh come on... inquiring minds want to know... did psyburat ever figure out how to build a deck or not? I bet he added feudkiller's verdict.

I haven't worked on anything casual since I posted that, and I honestly didn't expect constructive response (thanks for proving me wrong everyone!). I cut Regrowth for Forgotten Ancient so pulling the 250 to 300 changeover won't involve any cuts. Contract is not an option, no one around here will play for ante, so I'll always have to remove them anyways. Here's a color-sorted version of the decklist:

    White (20)
    4 Court Homunculus
    4 Ethersworn Canonist
    4 Sanctum Gargoyle
    4 Steelshaper's Gift

    1 Enlightened Tutor

    Blue (20)

    1 Personal Tutor
    1 Windfall

    4 Moriok Rigger
    4 Salvage Slasher
    4 Salvage Titan
    2 Thopter Foundry
    1 Demonic Tutor

Black needs consultation and imperial seal. Move all Thopter Foundries to white. Wayfarer seems bad, planeswalkers seem good.

Ajani Vengeant is a Control-house. Tezzeret seems like it would just be bonkers in your deck. Elspeth is a force to be reckoned with or she'll make the game completely one-sided. Ajani Golmane may not be a bad choice either since you do run quite a reasonable amount of creatures.

    And that's about it.

For Dipstik's suggestion for a planeswalker in a white slot I'd be inclined to go with Ajani Vengeant, only because I'd like to avoid CC costs with this kind of mana base. I might just have to break my self-imposed color minimum for Tezzeret though.
