So rough idea is not to scramble to find the red for that Bolt or Helix, something along those lines. I tried to replace those less-than-insane cards with cheaty cards that fit some of the inclusions a bit better (Finks for the Birth Pod/Nat Order), while keeping the options to the insane cards, Contract/ Tutors/ Aven Mindcensor still there. It's harder to find the mana, but hopefully you'll have UGx instead of UGxxx in your opening hand, and only need to commit to one other color with your fetch right away. The high # of basics makes Blood Moon and Price of Progress far far less punishing, and every now and then I can tutor up the Swamp to get through it anyway.
  1.
    Format your list.

Am I to assume if there's not a list quantity of the card before the name, that you're running the maximum legal amount?

Being lazy. It's a list of 1x at first, then 4x after that (except for a few 3x in there).

4x Forbid, 4x Quiet Speculation. Really?

I think the 2 nice innovations this deck brings to light are 4x Shackles and 4x Birthing Pod.

    Suggestions:
    Wall of Roots
    Glen Elendra
    Loaming Shaman
    Spellbane Centaur
Squee, Goblin Nabob (at least 1 for sure to go with Survival)
That one Exarch that when he ETBs he untaps your Pod.
Some kind of board wipe like Crater Hellion or Massacre Wurm
    Phy. Metamorph

    "Chorb" LOL.

EDIT: Some other possibles depending on how far you want to take Pod are the obvious KJ, Village Bell Ringer, Cord of Calling...etc..etc.

    Oooo, Quiet Spec. Yeah, def.
Glen Elendra's a good call there. I can swap my puny Mystic Snakes for that in a heartbeat. Forbid was there to stop Hypergenesis, since you need a few counters to stop all the cascading - it's rare to have 2 in hand at any point. Even though no one really plays Hypgn, or 5-C, for that matter. It could be something better, though.

    Oof.
